Sambar deer droppings 2 500x500

Sambar deer droppings beside a 0.5 mm lead point pencil.

The droppings are pointed at one end, dimensions about 20 × 10 mm. Sambar deer droppings are difficult to distinguish from those of other deer. However, they will often be found in thick cover where the deer have stopped before venturing into the open.
