Pig veg 4 500x500

Bark damage on a tree caused by feral pig rubbing.

Feral pigs often rub against trees to control lice or remove ectoparasites (unwanted bugs living on their skin). They habitually return to the same trees, and can sometimes kill them if they remove too much bark. The bark is often covered in mud.
