Stoat

Mustelids comparison 500x500

Ferret (back), stoat (centre) and weasel (front).

You can clearly see the size difference between the three different species and that only stoats have a black tail tip. Weasels are often confused with stoats; stoats are larger, have a longer tail with a black tip and the line between the brown and white/yellow fur is straight rather than wavy.
