Goat droppings 3 500x500

Fresh goat droppings (pellets) beside a ruler for size.

Goat pellets are solid, round, dark pellet with an elongated oval shape. They are about the same size as blueberries and can be up to 20 mm long × 8 mm. They can be difficult to distinguish from sheep, young red deer, and sika deer droppings. They are usually clean and dry but can have an oily sheen when first deposited.  Droppings are almost odourless.
